Auditory History : Rainy Day Shuffle

My ipod on shuffle will always give me surprises galore. TY to all the people who send me awesome stuff to listen to. ๐Ÿ™‚ Nikki was asking me for some “new” music, and although songs in this list may not all be “new”. Here’s some random music befitting this rainy afternoon.

1) Brookeville – Tell Her You Love Her

— Completely random song that I found in my laptop’s desktop. I really don’t know how it got there. Anyone have any idea? But awesome song! It reminds me a bit of Tahiti 80 but the guitars are all wrong. Well, it’s one of those effing songs that you listen to when you’re alone and it’s raining outside. ๐Ÿ™‚

2) Superpitcher – Joanna

—When I was growing up, the only song I knew that had my name was from Eddy Grant. It was Give Me Hope Joanna. I actually remember getting teased about it when it was played in a birthday party when I was in elementary. Last night as I was driving home, Superpitcher’s song played! ๐Ÿ™‚ย  Best Joanna song ever. ๐Ÿ™‚

3) Weezer- Say It Aint’ So

—It’s raining. Try singing it. ๐Ÿ™‚

4) The Twang – Encouraging Sign

— It’s sweet! ๐Ÿ™‚

5) Smashing Pumpkins – The Celestials

— I love this song! ๐Ÿ™‚ Stuck in my head! Can’t wait to watch them! ๐Ÿ™‚

That’s it! I owe people new music, but I’ve really been mostly listening to Electric Guest and old The Twang music. Oh, and a lot of Britney Spears. haha! ๐Ÿ™‚

PS EXTRA: Pitbull feat Shakira – Get It Started

— I heard this super recently. It doesn’t go well with this playlist, I admit. BUT it features Shakira (yay!), and mentions Manila AND Pacquiao! ๐Ÿ™‚ย  And I am easily amused. ๐Ÿ™‚
