For the longest time, I couldn’t call myself a wahine. I’ve always had this idea of what a Wahine is… the girl that pops into my head is Lorraine Lapus. You know–tanned, gorgeous, sexy, and rips. But then I joined a Wahine Surf Camp wherein I won a mini-comp, went on a helluva lot of scary surftrips, and somewhere along the way, i’ve gotten comfortable calling myself a Wahine and I find myself surprisingly featured in a video named Wahine’s Way.
